Ritual: Awaken the Power Within

A candle and breath-based ritual to reclaim your energy and anchor your inner strength

This simple yet powerful ritual is designed to call your energy back to center, connect you to your intuitive strength, and help you step into a new phase of confidence and sovereignty.

You don’t need elaborate tools—just your focus, your breath, and your willingness to show up.

This is not a ritual of asking. This is a ritual of remembering.

What You’ll Need

  • A candle (white, red, or orange are ideal, but use what feels right)
  • A quiet space where you won’t be disturbed
  • Optional: a crystal, charm, or item that represents your strength
  • Journal and pen
  • Your breath and your presence

Step-by-Step Ritual Instructions

1. Prepare Your Space
  • Cleanse the area with smoke, salt, or sound if desired
  • Dim the lights and ground your energy
  • Sit comfortably facing the candle
2. Set Your Intention

Speak aloud or write in your journal:

“I now choose to awaken the power that already lives within me.

I call my energy home. I rise in truth. I rise in clarity. I rise in power.”

3. Light the Candle

As the flame catches, imagine it igniting the flame within your core—the place where your strength has always lived.

Watch the flame and breathe deeply:

  • Inhale through the nose
  • Hold briefly
  • Exhale slowly through the mouth
  • Repeat for 3–5 full cycles

Each breath draws energy inward. Each exhale releases old stories, fears, or doubt.

4. Speak Your Power Statement

Use a statement you’ve created (see next section for guided writing), or speak from your heart:

“I am the keeper of my energy.

I choose to rise. I choose to trust. I choose to shine.”

Say it three times, each with more clarity and conviction.

Optional Additions

  • Crystal: Hold or place a stone like carnelian, citrine, or tiger’s eye to enhance power and confidence
  • Sigil or Symbol: Draw or place a sigil that represents personal strength on your altar or under the candle
  • Charm or Talisman: Infuse an object with your power and carry it with you (see Section 8)

Closing the Ritual

When you feel the energy settle, close with:

“I thank the flame, the breath, and the silence.

My power is awakened. My light is steady. My magic is my own.”

Blow out the candle mindfully. Feel your energy gathered and grounded.
