Seal your learning with a sacred promise to yourself

You’ve walked through deep terrain this month—examining the Wiccan Rede, the Rule of Three, the meaning of harm, and the daily choices that shape your path. Now it’s time to affirm what you’ve learned and set an energetic intention that will carry forward with you.

This lesson offers a spoken or written affirmation you can use to seal your commitment to ethical, empowered magic. You’re also invited to write your own vow, as a reflection of your unique values and voice.

Sample Affirmation

“I walk in integrity.

I trust my wisdom.

I act in love.

My words, actions, and magic reflect the truth of who I am.

I walk lightly on the Earth and powerfully in spirit.

May my will be clear, my heart be kind, and my path be wise.”

You may speak this:

• At the end of a ritual
• Before casting any spell
• As part of a morning practice
• Anytime you feel uncertain and want to return to your ethical compass

Write Your Own Vow

Take a moment to reflect on the kind of witch you are becoming.

• What do you stand for?
• What kind of energy do you want to carry into the world?
• How do you want your magic to feel—for yourself and others?

Then write your own 2–4 line vow.

Example:

“I vow to listen before I act, to choose compassion over control, and to walk in harmony with all I touch.”

You may wish to:

• Write this in your Book of Shadows
• Add it to your altar or grimoire
• Revisit and revise it as your path deepens

Why This Matters

A vow is a living spell—not meant to bind you, but to guide you.

It’s a reminder of your truth when things get unclear.

It’s a way to stay aligned without needing to be perfect.

You are not just learning Wicca—you are becoming it.
